With seven contemporary finishes and durable uPVC construction, Marley Stratus brings gutters and downpipes into the architectural conversation.
When designing a home’s exterior, attention is usually focused on the roofing, cladding and joinery. Increasingly, though, the rainwater system is becoming part of the overall architectural design rather than simply a practical necessity.
Marley’s Stratus Design Series® has been developed with that in mind. Available in seven contemporary colours, the range allows spouting and downpipes to complement the rest of the home’s exterior, giving builders, designers and homeowners greater freedom to achieve a cohesive finish. Whether the goal is a bold architectural statement or a subtle, understated look, Stratus provides options to suit a wide range of residential styles.
The colour range includes Black, Grey Friars®, Ironsand®, FlaxBlack®, Gull Grey, Titanium and Copper. Marley has also confirmed that Stratus Copper has been reformulated and is now back in stock, returning one of the range’s most distinctive architectural finishes to the market.
While appearance is an important part of the range, Stratus has been designed to perform just as well on site. Manufactured from durable uPVC, the system is lightweight and easy to handle, helping simplify installation. Unlike steel, it won’t rust or corrode, making it particularly well suited to New Zealand’s varied environments, including coastal locations where long-term durability is essential.
The co-extruded surface is designed to withstand New Zealand’s harsh UV conditions, while the modular system makes maintenance and repairs straightforward if individual components ever need replacing. Stratus also complies with AS/NZS 4020 for the safe collection of drinking water and is 100% recyclable at the end of its service life through Marley’s recycling programme.
As exterior design continues to evolve, builders are looking for products that combine architectural appeal with long-term performance. Marley Stratus Design Series® brings contemporary colour choices together with the durability, ease of installation and low-maintenance performance expected from a modern rainwater system, helping complete the look of today’s homes.
